Experience
Eric represents the firm’s clients on business and real estate matters. His practice involves advising entrepreneurs, owners, and real estate developers in connection with a wide range of matters, including acquiring, developing, and selling real estate assets, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, and leasing transactions.
Eric also serves as outside general counsel to small and mid-market clients in a variety of industries, from real estate development and construction, hospitality, and retail, to professional services, information technology, and defense. Eric’s background includes advising companies with respect to regulatory compliance, negotiating resolutions to commercial disputes, and litigating contract and fraud-based claims as they pertain to companies and their owners.
Eric and his family live in Middleburg, Virginia, and he serves as a member (and past Chair) of the Loudoun County Planning Commission and the Chair of the Middleburg Board of Zoning Appeals, addressing local land use, zoning, and development matters.
